Langhorne Creek Historical School

An hour South East of Adelaide, Langhorne Creek is a small town at the centre of a rich farming and wine growing region.  In 2012, restoration commenced on the town’s old school, with the building being developed as a central hub to cater for community, visitor and commercial needs.

The main room of the old school has been restored to provide a gallery and visitor information centre.

The aim was to provide an attractive and informative narrative of the history and future of the region.  Using three large format poster-style banners, each banner focussed on the three centuries of European settlement around  Langhorne Creek.
