We’ve been left in the lurch before by web designers who’ve fallen off the face of the Earth or have completely shut up shop. It’s our aim to provide you with exceptional and timely customer support not only before and during your project, but after we’ve completed the project too. There are a few ways we do this—

Response Times

First, we aim to answer any customer inquiries or support requests within 48 hours during business days, but often it’s a lot sooner.

Bug Fixes

If you encounter any website bugs or issues with the functionality of your website or project files after your project has been delivered, we’ll happily fix them for you for free. This is provided the issue is within the scope of work we promised and the cause of the problem isn’t related to custom design changes you have made yourself. We also can’t make changes to an approved design if you simply change your mind.

Basically, if it’s our error, we’re more than happy to fix it! And, even if it’s not our error, we’ll still do our best to help you or point you in the right direction. We can also help with website upgrades and improvements if you need them.

Support Articles & Tutorials

We’ve built a support centre that we add to regularly with tutorials, videos, and guides to show you how to use our websites. You also have access to Webflow’s University and Shopify’s support articles, so there will always be an answer to your question.

Wider Support Channels

We plan on keeping Baker Creative around for years to come, but just in case we get sucked into a vortex, we build all our websites using trusted platforms, like Web flow, so your website is hosted and supported by their growing team and community, not just ours.

Most of the time, yes! We created our packages because they were what we were frequently creating for our customers, but we know they’re not going to be a snug fit for everyone.

So, think of our packages as a starting point. If you require additional items, let us know exactly what you’d like to create and we’ll give you a flat fee estimate so you have all your costs up-front.

If there are items you don’t need, let us know what you’re hoping to build and we can tailor your package to fit your needs.

You’re in good company—a lot of our clients live in different cities all over Australia or overseas! Our aim is to reply to any questions you have within 24-48 hours, Monday to Friday. When we work together, we’ll upload proofs, briefs and documents for your project to a shared online space. We also communicate as needed via email, video calls and phone calls.

We’ll need you to spend around 2-2.5 hours filling in your briefing questions and chatting through any questions in our strategy call, and then approximately 15-30 minutes a week providing us with feedback and approving your designs.

We only take on a limited number of projects each month so we can give each one our undivided attention. This means that sometimes we have a waitlist to work with us. Once you book in, we’ll share your allotted timeline with you so you’ll know when we’ll need items back from you, and when you can expect items from us. As everything is pre-planned, we require timely responses from you so that we can deliver on schedule.

We know your time is important, as is ours. If you are unresponsive or miss deadlines, this not only effects our workflow, but can also effect the delivery of other clients’ projects too. While this might not be your intention, it’s the reality. This is why we ask you to carve out some time in your schedule during your project to keep things flowing.

Of course, we totally understand that life sometimes throws a curveball, we’d just love a courtesy call, email, carrier pigeon—whatever you can muster up to let us know as soon as you can. In this instance, we’ll hit pause and reschedule your project when you get back in touch, but please know there may be a wait to lock in a new timeline.

The best way to get in touch with us is via our contact page. We aim to get back to you within 48 hours (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm AWST), but often sooner. If your enquiry is related to the Webflow platform, you can also check out their University or forum which is choc-full of answers too!

Most of the time it’s a big fat yes from us, but will depend on our availability and suitability for the project. We don’t charge hourly, so once we understand your project needs, we’ll provide you with a flat fee estimate.

Yes, we can!

Prior to creating anything, we’d love to know how you’ll be using your design in the future. If you’d like access to the raw Illustrator, InDesign or Photoshop files so that you can make modifications to the design in the future, please let us know so we can account for this in our pricing and outline it as a deliverable in our scope of work.

In some instances, our clients prefer us to recreate their design in Canva so that it’s more user friendly for them, and we can do that too. We don’t want you to feel restricted, but we also want to make sure that, if we are creating files for you to use and edit in the future, that they are designed with that purpose in mind.

If you’re working with us on your visual identity, your logo suite will include CMYK, RGB and PMS colour versions, positive and negative versions for using on light and dark backgrounds, and .EPS, .PNG, and .JPEG file types. Where relevant, your logo may also include other variants, such as standalone icon marks, or logo orientation variations.

If we purchase or create any assets for use on your website (fonts, stock images) these will be added to your website, but the files will also be shared with you once we’ve finalised your project.

We’re so excited to meet you! Please start a project to introduce yourself and tell us about your requirements. We’ll get back to you shortly after with any questions and we’ll set up a time to meet you (virtually or in-person) so we can get a better understanding of your goals and project scope.

Our availability changes, so it’s best to enquire as soon as you can if you have a looming deadline. Usually our waits are no longer than 4 weeks. To lock in your date, we’ll need a 50% deposit or full payment, as well as a signed agreement from you.

Once you’ve signed on and paid your deposit, we’ll set a time to kick off your project and share an online link to where you can find your project documents and welcome packet.

We don’t think hourly rates give a good indication of the overall price of a project and are a terrible comparative tool as each designer works at a different pace.

You’re not paying us for our time, you’re paying us for the results and value we deliver. That’s why we don’t bill hourly. Instead, we like to outline exactly what we’re doing for you upfront and provide transparent pricing before we get started.

If you decide you’d like to extend the scope of work during your project, that’s no problem, we’ll simply provide an estimate for the work and add any additional amounts to your final bill.
